Daylight Saving Starts, School Holidays end, 6 Oct

With our normal timetable resuming from Monday, and hockey returning then, too!

Last AO (Adults Only) Skate for 2024

Saturday evening 5 Oct, 8:30-10:30pm — after the “for all” 6:30-8:30pm session.

Show week specials

Geelong Show week, we’re giving away FREE showbags to all skaters, at the Centre!

No Cup Day skating

CUP DAYS – Geelong & Melbourne Cup days – we are open for school activities & roller hockey leagues, as usual.  Sorry folks, we do not have public/general skating on cup days.  More Skate Centre Public Hol updates may be found on this link: CLICK

Hockey Season Starts

Our Summer Hockey Season starts on Monday, 7 October.  Joins us for some fun!  Come-n-try opportunities for adults & kids!

Halloween

Although officially on 31 October, being a school/work night, we decided to celebrate the event of the whole of the ensuing weekend.  1-3 November, from Friday evening, through to Sunday arvo!

Melbourne Cup

As we mentioned above, we do not open for public skating on Cup days.  Some Geelong businesses have a head office in Melbourne, and so they do get the day off, and they even sneak in an RDO on the Monday, to give people an extra long break.  However, that does not apply locally, and so we continue our usual Monday & Tuesday timetable.  Sorry folks!

• Tuesday, 24 Dec –Thursday, 26 Dec (Christmas Eve to and including Boxing Day)

Roller Hockey Leagues “Christmas Break”

Our hockey leagues wind up for the year on Thursday, 19 December, and return Monday 20 January, 2025.
