NEW SEASON STARTS MONDAY
6 OCTOBER 2008
How the
finals work
Most 8-team
leagues are broken down into First & Second Division
with 1st plays 4th, and 2nd plays 3rd. The winners
then play for Gold & the losers for Bronze, in their
respective divisions.
With 6-team
leagues, on this occasion, we will have 5th & 6th
play-off for final position (rank), and the chance to
become an "alternate team" in the even a higher placed
team cannot make their final on week 2. The top 4
teams in each division follow the same format as that
used in the above Divisions (1v4, 2v3).
