SCHOOL HOCKEY

SAFE - modified rules and equipment.  "Hockey" position is particularly safe for skaters.

FUN - more action, adrenaline and laughs than you can imagine.   No skill required.  "Everybody likes it!"

AN EQUALISER - We all start the same.  Great footballers, basketballers, etc., are the same as anybody else when they start skating.  Everybody "comes down to earth."  Confidence booster for many!

TEAM WORK A MUST - For most teams, the pace and physical requirements are such that team work soon develops.  A great teaching aid.

GENERAL SKATING

Most general sessions run for about an hour and offer skaters a chance to skate to the latest music, in a DANCE PARTY atmosphere (10,000 watt colored lightshow).  Games are offered throughout the session to entertain and distract the skaters, making it fun for them and relatively easy to supervise groups of up to 400 skaters at once.  The Centre has 300 pairs of skates and blades ready for use at any moment, and another 300 in reserve.

Some special conditions and rates apply to schools.

School Learn-to-skate Sessions

Most students CAN already skate, and those who cannot WILL pick it up in ONE session.  We can take ALL students through a structured skill development program that enhances individual and team skills.

End-of-term Activities

Our weather-proof programs for small and large groups are lots of fun and easy to run.  Special prices apply for large groups

Pricing & Booking Information

Schools can book the centre (between 9:30 am and 3:00 pm) during the term, for general skating, skills classes or hockey!
